Our Process

How We Evaluate a Case

A case result, on its own, tells you very little about whether your matter will succeed. What matters more is how a firm evaluates a new case — what questions it asks, what evidence it preserves, and how candidly it assesses both the strengths and the weaknesses.

  1. Initial intake and factual review

We begin by listening to what happened and reviewing the documents you already have. The goal of this first conversation is to identify the legal questions your situation raises and to flag the factual issues that will shape the case. We do not promise outcomes at this stage — we explain what we know and what we would need to investigate further.

  2. Documentation and evidence preservation

Once engaged, our priority is preserving evidence. That often means sending preservation letters, obtaining records (medical, employment, police, or corporate), and identifying witnesses while memories are fresh. In cases involving commercial vehicles or medical records, evidence can be overwritten or destroyed quickly, and we move promptly to protect it.

  3. Expert consultation

Many of our cases require expert analysis — accident reconstruction, medical standard-of-care review, vocational assessment, or forensic accounting. We retain qualified consultants early and incorporate their analysis into our strategy. We do not bring a claim that we cannot support with appropriate expert testimony.

  4. Candid assessment and recommendation

We prepare every case as though it will be tried. That preparation frequently produces a fair resolution at the negotiating table. When it does not, we are positioned to proceed to trial. At every meaningful decision point, we present our client with a candid assessment of the options, the risks, and the expected timeline — and the client decides how to proceed.

Results shown are illustrative demonstration content and are not actual client results. Past results do not guarantee a similar outcome. Each case is evaluated on its individual facts.
